Commemorating 2 Years of Figure Collecting

Ah, time flies… And I believe it’s time I stop using that phrase to cover up my usual low productivity throughout the year. Yet again I apologize (to myself and my readers, if any of you are still here with me, that is). Nevertheless, despite the lack of updates on my blog, the usual activities of a figure collector were still going on behind the scenes; looking out for new updates, hunting for old stuffs, and having new figures coming in all the same so here I am, here to commemorate my second year into figure collecting, ay! Here’s a pack of potato chips. So, are you ready to join me on this really long ride?

I started off with a background story of how I got into figure collecting last year and for this year, I’m going to go on a little bit about my thoughts on this year’s progress first. Bluntly saying, I’m basically going to be doing some reflection here. Without further ado, let’s get started! I’ll be showing some statistics here.

I guess it’s a little irrelevant for the info of 2012 to be here now but since I didn’t touch on this last year, I’ll put it up. It’ll be a good comparison for between these two years too. So, created in some time around May 2012, I aimed to fill this blog with casual reviews and fun-filled photos. In that same year, approximately 23 posts were produced where the majority of them were written reviews. Yup, just as planned. It was also the time that I truly began exploring the realms of writing and photography.

Looks like I was off to a good active start but the productivity level went downhill afterwards. One reason being that I was on break from school during the first two months so I had more leisure time in the beginning and the reviews I did then were short. I guess I should also take my laziness into account for that… Anyway, moving on to this year’s statistics.

Indeed, a very drastic difference there. I gathered only a total of 6 posts in the year 2013 despite with two new components (gallery and video) being introduced. It’s pretty really pathetic, I’ll admit, and I don’t exactly feel good seeing how little I’ve done on this blog in this one year too. Still, I can no longer add in new events in between what have already gone by so let’s not dwell on it too much. This is only the beginning!
